HOST is an independent research and evaluation group specialising in employment, education and training, and enterprise studies. We operate from our offices in central Sussex and through a cross-UK network of HOST Associates and partner agencies. We provide a full range of policy research, monitoring and evaluation studies, and development services for government departments and agencies, and others in the public, private and voluntary sectors.

Established in 1986, HOST has built up a strong track record across the public sector for practically focused evaluation studies.
